Reading Assessment and Report

Service Description

Do you have a struggling reader and are not sure where to start intervention? I offer an evaluation that assesses phonological awareness, decoding, encoding, and reading fluency. After the evaluation, you will get a detailed report of the assessment results and my professional recommendations*. This is excellent information to bring to an IEP meeting or child's doctor's appointment if you are concerned about reading disabilities. The assessment takes between 45-60 minutes. After completing the assessment, I will send you a written report and provide a complimentary phone or video consultation to go over any questions you have! This assessment can be done in person or online. *Only a psychologist is able to diagnose dyslexia, but I can provide instructional goals and recommendations for intervention.
