Service Description

Do you have an older preschooler or kindergartener who is ready to learn how to read and you’re not sure where to start? This is the course for you! This six week, in-person, course will focus on research backed early phonological awareness skills, letter and sound recognition, letter formation, and high frequency words. Students will be introduced to blending and segmenting sounds to read and spell CV and CVC words. This in course # 1 in a series of 6 courses. This course will focus on letter names and sounds for the follow phonemes/graphemes: m, a, l, o, h, and g. Each class will focus on one letter or concept each week and will build upon what was learned the previous week. Each week your student will receive a practice packet from our session with activities to reinforce learning at home. Classes take place at Well Grounded Cafe in a small group setting of 3-5 students. Enroll today to secure your spot!
